Velvet Vortex Perfume: Light As A Feather

I’m new to being a scent lover. I wasn’t that girlie pop in a limited too trying on all the glitter sparkle spray on body perfumes. I think my mom probably played a big part, she is really overstimulated by scent and never wears perfume.

So I didn’t get that girlhood experience of coveting the smells of my mother or discovering perfumes through my favorite artists scent collab.

Now as an adult I’m confounded by the price to smell pretty for a few hours and I struggle to justify the spend.

I tell everyone to gift me perfume because whatever it is it will be a new and enjoyable experience for me.

Recently I was in the most incredible bakery/coffeeshop/florist/gift shop in Naples Florida called wolfmoon x kaleidoscope, both excellent names. Get a coffee and a croissant and enjoy in their ethereal outdoor space equip with iron daybeds, lounge furniture, little cafe tables, and all the tropical greenery you could ask for. Then peruse their gift selection.

I purchased this bottle for myself, very rose centered up front with a lingering depth to follow.

The smaller volume and therefore smaller price tag made it easier for me to say yes I will give it a try. I wish more perfumers would do this.

If you have any recommendations of ones that do please let me know! I want to try allllll the scents.
