The God of the Woods (Liz Moore)

I really loved this book

Family history mysteries are some of my favorites. Drama that spans generations? Yes please.

I am 36 but I will always love a spunky young I’m not like other kids character.

I especially liked that this one took a vulnerable friend under her wing — now that is real life hero shit. We should all do more of that.

I’m a real good guesser, I have been reading since I was very young, I come from a family of avid readers and we all love movies and television just as much. I can see a plot hole and a not so great twist from a mile away. Hell I can see a pretty fucking good twist from a mile away. The ending of this came out of no where in a good way. I felt like maybe I just didn’t have the right clues to get there and that’s great for someone who can too often guess the ending.

I convinced a friend to read it and she loved it too.
